VetAIS — web access via WebSwing

For remote access into VetAIS you can use WebSwing technology thanks to you can provide VetAIS via classic web browser.

To set up you need to follow these steps:

1. WebSwing need to be configured and running on some PC, mostly server in your network
2. in your router device what you use for Internet access you need to set «NAT port forwarding» or «Virtual PC» or «Demilitarized zone» to this local IP
3. for access you can then use URL in browser http://external_ip:8080/vetais/
4. external IP you can find for example if you open website www.myip.dk
5. in your router device you need to set forwarding (descibed in point 2) to local PC
6. for example if your local IP where WebSwing is running is 192.168.1.100 you need to set forwarding TCP port 8080 to local IP 192.168.1.100
7. if your external IP (described in point 4) is 1.2.3.4 then external URL for browser is http://1.2.3.4:8080/vetais/

Please be aware to set STATIC IP address (not DHCP) on your local server or PC where is WebSwing running, also if external IP is changed then access stop working.
